Mpumalanga Golden Voice – Submission Rules
1. Eligibility
Open to individuals aged 18 and above, who are bona fide residents of Mpumalanga Province.
Participants may be solo vocalists, duets, bands, or groups.
Entrants must hold a valid South African ID or passport and provide proof of Mpumalanga residence.
2. Submission Requirements
Submit a video or audio recording (up to 3 minutes) showcasing your vocal performance. Performances must be unedited, original, or public-domain covers (no copyrighted backing tracks).
Provide a brief bio (100 words max) including your name, age, hometown, musical background, and genre/style.
Include contact details: full name, email address, phone number, and home address in Mpumalanga.
Each contestant may submit one entry only during the submission period.
3. Submission Format & Deadline
Files should be in MP3, MP4, WAV, or AVI format, no larger than 50 MB.
Submissions must be received via the official online form, or delivered in person to the Mpumalanga Arts Hub office, by [Insert closing date and time] (e.g., 31 July 2025, 17:00 SAST).
4. Judging Process
A panel of musical experts will evaluate entries based on vocal ability, artistry, originality, and stage presence.
Selected contestants will be notified and invited to the next round of live auditions or workshops.
5. General Guidelines & Code of Conduct
Submissions must be family-friendly—abstain from profanity, hate speech, or explicit content.
Performances must be your own voice—no auto-tune or heavy editing permitted.
Any form of plagiarism, including unauthorized covers of copyrighted music, will result in automatic disqualification.
Contestants must commit to attend workshops, mentorship sessions, and any scheduled performances if selected.
By entering, contestants grant Mpumalanga Arts Hub the right to use submitted materials for promotion and publicity purposes.
